Audience Enrichment Programs offer opportunities for
Arena Stage patrons to deepen their theater-going
experience by exploring the many facets of Arena
Stage productions in greater detail. Audience
Enrichment Programs provide contextual and
historical information about Arena Stage
productions, investigations of the dynamic themes
and issues explored in contemporary theater, and a
forum for audiences to converse with the Arena Stage
artistic staff and guest artists.

In the spirit of artistic and literary salons of the
past, The Salon features Artistic Director Molly
Smith and other artistic leaders from Arena Stage in
a series of lively, in-depth conversations with the
playwrights, actors, directors, designers and
audiences which make Arena Stage so unique.
The Salon takes place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the
theater of each production (for example, The Salon
for 33 Variations is in the Fichandler) in most cases on the Monday before opening
nights. Molly’s Salon is free to Arena Stage
subscribers and donors ($75+), and only $3 for the
general public. Reservations must be made through
the Arena Stage Sales Office at (202) 488-3300.
The Salon dates can be found on the
season calendar >

Engaging post-show conversations provide background
information and backstage anecdotes about Arena
Stage productions and an opportunity for the
audience to interact with the actors from the shows.
Scheduled on selected Tuesday and Thursday evenings
and selected matinees. No additional charge.
Post-Show Discussion dates can be found on the
